Together\, Bruce\, the E Street Band\, and I are going to turn a spotlight on the current threats to democracy and h uman rights happening all around us on the “Land of Hope &\; Dreams A merican Tour” in the spirit of freedom\, justice\, and rock n roll. I ha ve a deep love and respect for all my friends\, fans &\; comrades\, and I’m sorry that I need to reschedule my solo shows and cancel my festiva l appearances in May. I promise that we will find a way to be together for these shows\, in these towns\, very soon.\n\n \;\n\n \;\n\nGrammy -winning\, Harvard-educated\, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inducted artist\, songwriter\, and activist Tom M orello is living proof of the transformat ive power of rock’n’roll. Known for his innovative guitar solos and th underous chords\, Morello is a groundbreaking artist both in his solo care er and as an original member of the rock bands Rage Against the Machine an d Audioslave - two acts responsible for multiple Grammy Awards and a combi ned 30 million albums sold worldwide. His trademark style was a crucial co mponent of Rage Against the Machine\, helping launch Morello and the band to Grammy-winning\, multi-platinum success\, which in turn led to his reco gnition by Rolling Stone Magazine as the 18th “Greatest Guitar Player of All-Time” and subsequent induction into both the Rock &\; Roll and M etal Hall\nof Fame. After not just one but two multi million selling bands \, Morello's signature guitar can be heard in the supergroup Prophets of R age and with his 6-year stint in Bruce Springsteen’s E-Street Band. Most recently\, Morello has been rolling out his first solo rock project with the latest single being “Pretend You Remember Me”\, an anthem written in solidarity with the immigrant community and in partnership with the Coa lition for Humane Immigrant Rights of Los Angeles (CHIRLA).
